What is the MSBC?
MSBC stands for the Murat Shrine Business Connection. We are Shriners, we are Freemasons, we are men who know the importance of personal relationships, especially in business. The MSBC seeks to strengthen our fraternal relationships and create new ones through the power of networking. "Building Relationships Through Networking" is our mantra and we do this by building on the foundation of our Masonic ties.
We seek to help our members create life-long relationships by bonding through social and business networking events and holding them to the high standards that being a Shriner and a Freemason demand of us. We have a diverse membership and diverse activities: social events, business meetings, professional networking events, mentoring, business education, plus direct access to some of the most trusted business professionals you'll ever meet. We welcome all Shriners who are looking for a "different kind" of club to be a part of, but especially professional men who are looking to expand their business and personal connections through networking.

Why join the MSBC?
We're not your traditional "Club": We think the MSBC is just the right mix of fraternal men that are hard working, like to be social, are looking for camaradarie and know how to have a good time. But at the same time though, be upright, professional and look out for one another on the business level. We are somewhat of a "Social Club" that caters to "Business Professionals" as members, but it's not a requirement, as we're all here looking for the same thing: making connections and making friends. We all do business with people we like - we get that concept here at the MSBC, and we create that environment to let that happen.
Trusted Relationships: All things being equal, Nobles do business with Nobles. Being a Shriner and a member of the MSBC provides you an opportunity to not only help support our exemplary cause, the Shriner's Hospitals for Children but also affords you the opportunities to build relationships with trusted professionals that are also Shriners and fellow Masons. We believe that our bond as Shriners and Masons holds us to a higher standard in conducting business - whether we are delivering the product or service, or whether we are receiving it as the customer, we conduct ourselves as Brethren.
Business Referrals: Need a product or service? Wanting to promote a product or service? Our MSBC Referral Network can help you with that. Being a member of the MSBC has many benefits, whether you're looking for a product or service or you're trying to promote one. The MSBC has a broad network of trusted professionals we associate with and are happy to make referrals to our members. Being a member of the MSBC allows you unlimited access to our MSBC Referral Network when needing a particular product or service. If you're a business that is promoting a product or service, becoming a member automatically includes you in our online Member Directory as well as a "Preferred" status when we have a member inquire about a particular product or service through our MSBC Referral Network. It also provides you opportunities for low cost advertising that reaches large audiences, like our online Business Directory, the Murat Shrine Membership Magazine and a number of others. If you'd like more information on our advertising options please Contact Us.
Professional Development: One of our focuses is to help the "Professional Man", whether he is just starting his career or whether he is a Master of his Craft. We seek to help him improve "Professionally" in a variety of ways: offering those opportunities to associate with other like minded men who share the same values; reinforcing business conduct and etiquette by education; observation and assimilation; and by educating them on the art of business networking - that unique business skill that allows us to communicate what we do and what we're looking for to the people we come in contact with. If you're a professional man and you know there is always room for improvement, you need to be a part of our group.

When do we meet?
Presently we meet three times a month for regular group business and networking events. We then meet as necessary based on our schedule of events, which can be found on our Calendar Page. Our Breakfast Meeting is held the 2nd Tuesday of each month, our Networking at the Rite luncheon is on the 3rd Wedcnesday and our Business Meeting is held in the evening on the 4th Tuesday of each month. All meetings offer a great opportunity to network and talk to other business professionals. Meetings are open to Members, Shriners, Masons and their invited guests. Please Contact Us for more information on attending any of our meetings.
How do I become a Member of the MSBC?
Because we are a club of Murat Shrine Temple, you must first be a Shriner and Member of Murat Temple. Membership applications for Murat Temple can be found here. If you are already a Murat Shriner, download our MSBC Membership Application, complete it and bring it with you to one of our next meetings. Our annual membership dues are only $30.00.
So you're not a Shriner but you're interested in becoming one?
First, you have to be an Indiana Freemason in good standing with the Grand Lodge of Indiana and then you need to fill out a petition/application to join the Shrine Temple to which you'd like to be a member of. There is a lot of good information to be found about being a Shriner at the Shriners International Website, including the locations of all the Shrine Temples in your area. If you'd like information on becoming a Murat Shriner, the MSBC would be happy to answer any questions you may have, give you a tour of our facilities here at Murat and provide you all the information you need on joining our beautiful Shrine Temple. E-Mail any of our Board Members directly or visit our Contact Page and leave us a message and we'll get back to you quickly.
And you're not a Freemason either, but you'd like to know more about becoming one?
You've come to the right place. Any Shriner or Freemason proudly will tell you what it means to be a Shriner and a Freemason, but the MSBC is especially proud and excited to introduce any man to what our fraternities have to offer and how they can benefit any man, at any stage in his life. Information on becoming an Indiana Freemason can be found at the Indiana Grand Lodge Website. If you would like to speak with an MSBC Officer or Board Member please E-Mail them directly or visit our Contact Page and leave us a message. We'll be happy to sit down and answer any and all questions you have about Freemasonry, joining a Masonic Lodge, being a Shriner, joining a Shrine Temple and even joining Murat Shrine Temple, located in downtown Indianapolis and the home of the MSBC.
